Re: Tom Cruise

Re:  Tom Cruise being eager to testify that he is not gay, in response to a porn performer's statement that Cruise's marriage broke up because of an affair with him:  To paraphrase a line by Shakespeare: The gentleman complains too much, me thinks, me thinks."

The last time such a cataclysmic event occurred was when, in the 1950's Liberace sued about a similar charge.  He swore he wasn't gay--and won.  That, of course, did not alter the fact that he was quite actively gay.  I can't remember more media space given over to denials about being gay than those concerning Mr. Cruise.  Some advice:  Just keep quiet about the matter; that would be the elegant approach--and it would do more than anything to uphold that he is indeed heterosexual."
